Questions distributors ask

What is the minimum order?

We sell by full container load (FCL). A 40' high cube holds about 20 pallets, and a container can mix brands and SKUs that ship from the same plant. We do not sell by pallet or by case.

Who is the importer of record?

LatinXchange LLC. We hold the FDA registrations and the FSVP file, file the entry with CBP through a licensed customs broker in Miami and pay duties. The product reaches you cleared, with U.S. labeling, and your invoice is a domestic purchase.

FOB Miami or delivered?

Both. You can pick up at our 3PL in Medley, FL (Miami) or we quote delivered to your warehouse. Containers can also route directly from the port to your dock when you take the full load.

Do I get exclusivity in my state?

Territories are assigned per brand and per state, subject to the volume we agree on. For Dos Pinos, 11 states and D.C. are outside our contractual territory and cannot be assigned; Emsula and Chile Lengua de Fuego are available nationwide.

How long does a container take?

Plan on about three weeks from confirmed order to departure at origin, plus ocean transit to Port Everglades and customs release. We confirm the date on each order.

What are the payment terms?

First orders are prepaid. Credit terms are reviewed after the first containers, with trade references and a credit application.

What shelf life arrives?

Each SKU lists its total shelf life. Product ships from the plant with at least 80 % of shelf life remaining; UHT juices and nectars are 8 months, Pinito milk powder 15 months, Gallito chocolates 10 months.

Do I need cold storage?

Not for the current portfolio: UHT juices, milk powder, sodas, water and hot sauces are shelf-stable. Gallito chocolates need a cool room below 26 °C / 79 °F. Chilled and frozen lines will be announced only when certified for the U.S.

Who pays for trade marketing?

Launch support is agreed per brand and per territory with the manufacturer: point-of-sale material, demos and introductory programs. Local activations are planned together with you.
