How we work

The import, explained in plain words

You buy a cleared container from a U.S. company. Behind that invoice there is a chain of responsibilities we hold so you do not have to.

  1. 1

    Plant

    Costa Rica · Honduras

Full containers loaded at the manufacturer with U.S. labels and ≥80 % shelf life.

  2. 2

    LatinXchange

    Entry at Port Everglades

Importer of record: FDA prior notice, FSVP, entry filed with CBP through a licensed broker, duties paid.

  3. 3

    LatinXchange

    3PL in Medley, FL

Cleared inventory for pickup, or a container routed straight from the port to you.

  4. 4

    Distributor

    Your warehouse

Delivered or FOB Miami. A domestic invoice, lot traceability and launch support per brand.

The six things buyers ask

What we hold, what you get

Importer of record and FSVP

LatinXchange LLC is the importer of record: registered with FDA, files prior notice and keeps the Foreign Supplier Verification Program file for every plant. You buy domestic product with the compliance already done.

Customs and broker

A licensed customs broker in Miami files the entry with CBP, pays duties and handles FDA holds and exams. Entry at Port Everglades, FL.

Inventory in Miami

Cleared product sits at a 3PL in Medley, FL, minutes from the port, for pickup or consolidation. Full containers can go straight from the port to your dock.

Full containers only

We sell 40' HC loads (≈ 20 pallets). SKUs from the same plant can be mixed; pallet or case sales are not offered.

Lead time

About three weeks from confirmed order to departure at origin, plus ocean transit to Florida and customs release. We confirm the date on each order.

Cold chain

The current portfolio is shelf-stable; Gallito chocolates need a cool room below 26 °C / 79 °F. Chilled and frozen lines will be announced only once certified for the U.S.

Document pack

What you receive with every container

Each shipment comes with the pack your compliance and receiving teams expect.

  • Commercial invoice from LatinXchange LLC and packing list by pallet
  • Entry summary and FDA release references
  • Lot numbers, production and best-before dates per SKU
  • Certificates of analysis on request
  • Label artwork and nutrition panels per SKU

FDA registration numbers and plant certificates are shared during onboarding, not published.
